The need. A family home needed to keep running through load shedding.
What we built. Ten 550 W JA Solar panels (5.5 kW), a 5 kVA Lux Power inverter and two 5 kWh batteries.
What it changed. The household carries on as normal through load shedding, with the batteries charged by the sun.
