The need. Load shedding was interrupting lessons, computers and lighting at the Italian School of Lusaka.

What we built. Fifty 550 W Jinko panels on the school roof, 27.5 kW in all, feed two 16 kVA Deye inverters (32 kVA together). 48 kWh of Genex Green battery storage carries the school through outages and into the evening.

What it changed. Classes carry on through load shedding, and the school draws less from the grid on sunny days.
